Inspired by Philip Glass’ wonderful Knee Play 1, I set out to create visual metaphors for numbers using photos and photo editing software.
Something about the repetition of shapes, colours and lines and tones that remind me of the numbers repeated over in the Glass music. Might make an interesting AS homework for Art students? How were mine produced? Image 2 using an iPhone with an Instagram filter. Imagine 1 and 3 are single photos with elements cut and paste, blended and blurred.
